copy and pasting from excel
a member has psoted this to me,
quote - The problem I have is exporting from Excel... I can paste into word, but I can't then paste the tables into this forum - keep getting the 'post is too long' message, and yet there doesn't seem to be a restriction on the size of the posts when it's just text without tables.
Trouble is, if I convert the data to just text, it's hard to read and doesn't make sense. - quote
can anyone help?

Re: copy and pasting from excel
The answer is yes it can be done and this is how
1. Highlight the cells in Excel.
2. Hold down the "Shift" key and choose "Copy Picture" from the Edit menu.
3. Then select "As Shown On screen"
4. Click "OK"
5. Now go to Word and use your regular old Paste.
Or
6. Select "Paste Special"
7. Select the format "Formatted Text (RTF)"
8. Object will be "Microsoft Excel Worksheet"
