Username Censor is not working

I have put a few names in my user censor and people are still able to register with those names. I have tried everyway of putting them in. The user name sensor says this:

"New usernames won’t be allowed to contain this words.
For example, if "test" is forbidden, no name created after the addition of this censored word will contain "test". So "test", "test06", "fastest" and "fatest98" will be forbidden"

That didn't work. So then I tried censoring the word by puting * before and after (Also- just before- then just after)- as someone once suggested.- But that still didn't work. Any help? thanks

if you enter *test* words: test06 and fastest won't be censored, but fastest98 will be
if you enter test* words test06 will be censored, but fastest and fatest98 won't be censored
try censor 3 words: ( test*, *test and *test* ) if you wanna be sure that word "test" will be censored

I was afraid I would have to do that. It would be nice to just put the word in there once and have it censored no matter what. Especiall since there is a limit on how many words you can sensor (At least I think there is) Thanks for the help

i spend days to found out how that works, it's so complicated, and nonsense

it would be, for sure, suggest it, like this idea

a limit?? oh man.. forumotion surprising me again and again

I think I will suggest it I just tested this method:

I put in this word like this:

Dam

and like this:

*Dam*

And it seemed to disallow it like that so far.

how to disable the chars like: ^ _ and space on their username?
