I like phpBB. I'm familiar with vBulletin but there's one superior to it which I won't name. That's why I chose 'Other'.

Re: phpBB VS vBulletin VS IPB
Hi
Wow, I was looking for a topic like this, can't believe I found it, xD. Anyway, this poll is almost 6 years so I believe it would be awesome to say that phpBB doesn't have many 'holes' anymore .
Hmm... from my observation and perspective:
IPB and vbulletin - Have greatly improved (I own a vbulletin forum); however, endorsement in this is a bit hard. Coding for them is a bit adaptable, yeah, but not as expandable as PHPBB.
SMF - I didn't even know this thing existed...
PHPBB - As far as I'm concern, the designs for IPB is very adaptable for this and with the # of codist/linguist coding for this version, the loopholes we once had is rarely palpable and for me, this has to be the greatest type of forum version ; however, I'm kinda sad we can't adapt PHP coding since it does meddle with security .
Regards,
Pizza Boi

Re: phpBB VS vBulletin VS IPB
After using SMF its difficult to use and navigate.
VB is one of the best because of plugins and to a degree, ease of use.
PhpBB - Again good
I've not used any other types.

Hi
I once used IPB until I quit because of the hard navigation (At least in my opinion) but you are right about vbulletin being easy to manipulate, it's just that PHPBB for me is generally more expandable.
Hmm... I wonder if there are new ones~

Hi I like IPB and PHP. Tried 'em both before 2004 when FM was not established yet.
On FM forums, I prefer mostly PHP, but invision is good too, as I moderate forms in both versions,
