Widgets

Hi, I am an Admin of the site : http://alternativehogwarts.forumotion.com and I am currently trying to make the widget go in the center of the main page.

How do I do this?

I know it is possible because the site : http://hogwarts-experience.heavenforum.org/index.htm has done this.

you can make your own widgets by going to admin panel modules on the left u should see this
Portal & Widgets

Portal management
Forum widgets management <--- click this and scroll down till u see create custom blocks. Then when ur editing the custom block enter the HTML u wish to be in there and hit save.
Now click portal management and then scroll down till u see structure
Pages name Action
Portal - Duplicate Structure Portal Preview Delete
click on it and then scroll down till u see personal widgets and then just drag it to where you want!
(this might be the long way but thats how you create your own widget and add them to the site)

Um.. yes i did all that, but it wont let me make it central on the homepage. Like the link i provided

I DONT want it in the portal.

yeah after typeing all that i went to the second link and saw what u was talking bout... when ur in ur general part of the admin panel go to topics and forum. then go to the thread/forum you wish to have a picture on and enter the picture in HTML format under description this should solve your problem

Um.. how do i do this if i want it on the homepage?

if welcome screen you mean the index/forums then go
admin panel -> general -> Categories and forums and from here you can ethier make a new forum/Categories and enter the html in the description or you can click on the the lil wheel to modify it and scroll down to description and enter the Image HTML that you wish to be here

Im sorry but what she wrote is completely understandable. You will need to make a new forum and add the html code into it...

He* if u was talking bout me and she wouldnt need to make another forum just add the html thats it
