How can I personalize my forum appearance with out using any template theme?

I want to personalize my forum (i.e the table structures.........). I have knowledge about XHTML and Web designing! So, wherether I can personalize my forum? And what I have to do? Help me, please !

You can access html pages and style sheets for your designs from the admin panel, colors, CSS.

You won't be able to access your HTML pages unless you have paid for the templates however the CSS is fairly useful to you as said, you have web design experience, personally i found it easy to edit the forum using the CSS
