Technical Web Support Empty Re: Technical Web Support

Post by Guest August 2nd 2008, 12:56 am

Unfortunately due to complaints logged by members the forum itself has been closed to guests.... the portal is still viewable but the forum is closed until registration has been completed.

Reports that two other un-named forums have copied complete sections of the forum, images, text, advice and posts had been passed directly to the staff along with screen shots and links.

This issue is currently being investigated.

My apologies

Some of the issues that occurred the other day have been resolved however because the main investigation is ongoing the forum will remain locked to guests for a few more days.

For Registered Users

The design gallery updates have been completed, free online tools and forum are complete and use able. There will be an update in the next few hours describing ways in which a member may be referred to the designers forum

***Update***

All previous issues have been cleared up on the forum, A main investigation into the allegations is still ongoing however we have opened the forum to guests again

For members to gain access into the Designer's forum

They can either request this by emailing a member of staff and wait until we consider their application or by gaining votes by displaying their images in the general discussions section under Gallery

Once all votes are counted the member will then be able to view the designers forum if they have been successful

Notification will be sent to the user once the Designers account has be created.

Technical Web Support Empty ***SITE UPDATE***

Post by Guest August 19th 2008, 8:14 pm

The staff at TWS have decided to give the navigation of the forum a little freedom and in doing so managed to stream line the sections a little more than previous thought possible.

Technical Web Support 2ljlxn6

The main section of the forum is now held as a communal section where the majority of the chat sections are amongst suggestions and requests are based, Also misc section will be based in this area.

Where main sections are now contained in the navigation bar and once selected members will be taken to a dedicated section.
This is called "Call Flow" where the sections are set in such a way where they are taken to each relevant section that they need based on there situation or needs.

The main navigation sections are

  • Forum Support (Where OS's will be selected next in order to navigate you to relevant support)
  • Security Centre
  • Web Design (Code and graphics requests can also be found here)

Feel free to browse the forum to see all new updates

Post by Jalokim September 1st 2008, 9:12 pm

This site is really worth a look and its also a very good idea to bookmark it. Everybody has tiny problems with their operating system, and this site offer almost immediate help, that works! This is a vital link to have in your bookmarks when things start to go wrong with your PC's.

Apart from that I'd like to comment on the passion and work that has been put into this site. The founder has put in immense hours of work, delicately perfecting every detail of this board.

On my mark ,this forum has phenomenal potential and the golden key to sucsess.

Technical Web Support Empty Some Bad & Good News

Post by Guest February 18th 2009, 8:22 pm

Some Bad & Good News

***Please Disregard The Previous Update Post***

TWS firstly apologise to our members and guests for the recent and sudden re-shuffle of our forum. Due to Copyright issues involving a member who completely copied all the content's and theme onto their own forum we were left with a large amount of email to respond to, Alot of guests and members were concerned,

We thank you all for your concern about TWS Smile

Spoiler:

As a result of this unpredictable situation TWS staff decided action was needed so once we had dealt with the copyright side of things we used the situation to implement one of the themes we were testing, We have dubbed it "Simplehold" for its simplicity,

The forum its self now boasts a self sustaining website at the forefront of the TWS Support forum, The website of the TWS support forum contains the following elements.

  • New Banner
  • New Navigation System
  • Tutorials section
  • Recent section (Details Recent Activity)
  • TWS Updates Section

The support forum boasts an identical theme to make things blend better and contains a simpler navigation system to match that of the website.

Below i have added a couple of screen shots

Technical Web Support Empty Create & Evolve

Post by Guest May 6th 2009, 10:03 pm

Create & Evolve

Firstly i want to thank the projects team for re-initiating a high standard of design and productivity back into the TWS name,
Secondly i want to thank the long standing staff members who have encouraged myself to re-open TWS support.

The new project seen via TWS & Placehold directive's is disguised as two features now appropriately named 'Create' & 'Evolve'

Create:

As the slogan states 'To cause to exist; bring into being' represents exactly what our main goal for this project is,
Simply put users are able to send programming requests to the staff by simply filling out a small form,
This service is particularly good for users who are too busy to produce the request themselves or who are lacking the experience.

Evolve:

Again as the slogan states 'To develop; to achieve gradually' represents our other aim and main goal as a side project of the above named 'Create' project.
Simply put users are able to load programs and forms they have created however may not be usable in order to have them rectified,
This service is aimed at the other half of the www where users may want to attempt to program and simply need assistance but may not be able to find the information required.

How do theses service actually work?

The user simply fills out one of the required forms and sends the form to us,

Upon receipt the user then receives a confirmation email that we have received the request and then another within a 24hr period to clarify exactly how long the request will take to complete

Once the request has been fulfilled a confirmation email will be sent to notify the user and a download link will be supplied, 24hrs will the link last before expiration, An email will then have to be raised to re-active the link after a 24hr period.

How do i find these services?

Well each service is linked on the other site, At the bottom of each website is a link for either to request a program or to request a repair.
By selecting either link you will be directly to the appropriate page.

Is there a direct link i can bookmark?

You will be able to bookmark each service individually using the following links,

Sparks

Due to the surprising popularity of our other services, TWS and its team have now been set a new task ...

What is it?

'Sparks' is the end product of global threading. Allowing you to have your say and to air your opinions without the risk of it bein hijacked.

Say what you have to and 'Submit' it.
Within a matter of moments you should see your 'Sparks' appear on this site to show others exactly what your about.

Reepo

Ok so to add one more Beta service to our small list of unusual services BEFORE TWS is re-launched (Its coming shortly), we now pronounce 'Reepo' up and active,

What is it?

Online there is literally hundreds of different Copyright tools, Infringement tools which let you know if someone has copied your website and it isn't usually long until you see them claim it as their own adding plagerism to the list of broken digital laws however it's useless knowing if they dont reply to your emails ...

'Reepo' was created out of demand with the soul purpose of dealing with websites that steal from others, Simple to use and a simple layout you just enter the details and we'll take it from there.

At the moment we are still building bridges in order to improve our already strong online authority and the service has already been approved by corporate companies aswell as the smaller family run forums.

What next?

Well thats simple, As we get more approvals from websites we will keep a small list of these sites that support our cause and each will be recommeneded by our website and each will receive a link back to our website. Terms & conditions are being drawn up for the use of service as at the moment it will remain as a beta until we get some figures prepared for our main sponsor.

Join the cause, to do so simply navigate to the page and click the 'Contact us' link and supply the web masters details along with contact details and website address.

Is there a direct link i can bookmark?

You will be able to bookmark each service individually using the following links,

TWSupport

Hello,

Today i am glad to announce that on Monday of next week which is the 25th May 2009 TWSupport (TWS) will re-open.
We have been closed for a while now mainly because we had soo much to do along with new projects we were trying to include with TWS.
Now that the team have accomplished 90% of our targets we felt it was time to respect the users wishes and re-open, The opening will be quick and simple and all data has been saved and untouched.

We have simplified the sections of the forum as we have the new services to fall back on and there is some new interesting services to be released in the months to come which users will have the opportunity to participate in.

Registration is still free, All old and new members are welcome.

The design of TWS has changed however as you may agree on the opening day we have got to grips with the design of the forum and it reflects our services ... Clean, Tidy, Smooth, Different and Bold.

If you have any queries regarding TWS please forward all emails to TWS@Lavabit.com

All emails directed to myself may not be read and remain unanswered as my inbox is frequently overflowing and has to be manually unbundled.

Thank you to all the members and users for their/your patience and welcome back to TWS Smile

Our first gift to Vista users is in the following link however this article will be moved into TWS on Monday

Sync Center - Disable Mobsync.exe

Kindest Regards
