is there a footer where html can be used?

if so where? our chat is in our header and we'd rather have it in the footer.

Yeah, there is a way, go to Admin panel Modules Chatbox Configuration Chatbox display: set it to "Bottom of the page", and there you go.


However, if you are using a non-forumotion chatbox like xat or something, you need to go to the Admin panel -->Modules--> Portal---> and manually move the widget to the bottom of the page.
