using the rss feed to display newest listings in my classifieds?

I am wanting to figure out how to get the rss feed, for my classifieds, to make it something like this script below that i can add on the main forum page which will update itself. (you can copy the script below and test it or go to this link: http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/marketfeed.cfm )

how would i go about doing this?

Check out my site, the news page and the rss box on the lower left hand side of the Home and InfoPage (Portal).

I display news feeds within RSS widgets, that are available from various sources on the net.

The two I use are from Widget.box (http://www.springwidgets.com/widgets/view/40179 - this is the largest fancier one on the News page) and Google is the source for the smaller ones. Placing two of the same kind on a page causes problems.

If you find better ones let me know...

I do not know how to place one directly on the page. Every source I located indicated the need for some server side programming or software placement. I asked a moderator about placing a file or software on the server and got a "no".

In order for an RSS feed to work, you have to sign up at a service first. You will complete a form that will link their feed to your site. Then - any time new content is added, subscribers to your feed will be notified. That's how it works - people subscribe to your feed and get the new content.

I use FeedBurner on my blog and it works well.
