Approving Members? Empty Approving Members?

Im making a forum for me and my clan and I want it to be private. I dont want anyone to be able to see it. I got it to where you have to be a member to see the forum.

But is there a way to make it to where I have to approve the members before they're accounts are activated?

Admin panel>Users&groups>User Options>Account Activation = Admin>Save
