Viewing Members private messages

Hi there

I suspect that one of my members are recruiting other members on my forum to a different forum. Is there a way I can get into his PM to see if he is sending PMs to other users?

No, you cannot do that. This is called invading privacy. Tell your members to notify you if any members advertise via PM

what i do because there been alot of other forums members coming on my forum and trying to poach my members

so what i did was disable everybody pm till they have posted 100 posts, if and if you think they are spamming the forum just to get upto 100 just dont let them use pm's

That's been an on going problem with alot of forums. Great idea to disable the pm system until they reach a certain number of post. Thx spook. I've already set standards with regards to spamming to get the post up.

We also have been having this on going problem. One of our members called them spoilers, as they had forced forums to close down. We have tried the pm's, and yet we can not get rid of them , as they sign in with multiple accounts. Moving your forum doesn't work either, as they have found us again. I wish the best of luck to you.
