This is basically a full theme request.
I'd suggest choosing a nice neutral theme from hitskin.com
you can request the index icons and already your forum will have a highschool feel.

Just reduce your request to a couple buttons like for example the nav bar and index images and your forum will have a new look

I actually got a couple ideas while visiting your site. I can make the images you need ,plus i can choose a theme from hitskin to base things on.

i'm basically giving you a make over for free. Just tell me : do you wish to have a dark or light theme??
