How can i make the replies to a topic appear next to (or under) the initial post...

i wanted to set the 1st post be in the 1st page...

initial post are being made.. but after the forum members made their replies.. the replies are placed above it... the initial posts will be seen on the 2nd page...

how will i fix it and make it appear that initial or original posts always appear on the 1st page...

please help me thank you...

This is known as 'reverse chronological order' and unfortunately it is not possible to do.

but i saw in some other forums.. the 1st post is always on the 1st page,...

and the replies are posted next to it or under it...

Could you post the link to the forum that you saw that was able to do this?

EDIT: This is possible to do. Silly me. Go to the forum which you want in Reverse Chronological order in the Admin Panel (General > Categories and Forums) and click on the button. Find where is says "Sort the posts of a topic by :" and change the option to "Post's Date (most recent in first). Then click on Save.

Now that particular forum will have all it's topics posts in reverse chronological order.

Just do the same steps for all the forums where you want that feature to happen.

That's is what reverse chronological order is. Like this:

5th Post at Midnight
4th Post at 11pm
3rd Post at 10pm
2nd Post at 9pm
1st Starter Post

etc.

I explained how to do that in a couple of previous posts.
