Remember the rules!

What are General discussions

- A section for discussions about precise subjects related to actualities, cinema, videogames, litterature, etc. "Light" subjects have the right to mix with more serious subjects. Each people has the right to post as long as he/she respects the rules.
Each people has the right to express himself in his level.
- A section where you can ask technical questions that may interest everyone, like "how to make a website"
- A section where we introduce topics, i.e by presenting precisely what we want to talk about. Not only by "Let's talk about belgian tomatoes", but by presenting what are belgian tomatoes, even by quoting another website if you don't have any idea on how to present the belgian tomatoes.

Please express yourself clearly without violating the above

Well here is mine and I quote forumotion:

Don't hesitate to propose your own set of suggestions, we regularly update and propose new functions directly inspired by suggestions of our members.

link to that quote: https://www.forumotion.com/forum-free.htm

regularly update?

new functions directly inspired by suggestions of our members?

Ok by a show of hands how many of us asked for a new admin panel? Oh wait, asked for three different ones?

I enjoy forumotion a lot I really do but if they would act upon thier own words then it would be THE BEST.

I just want what is the best for everyone really. How many of our suggestions have been sitting around for over a year with no reponse at all from the technicians.

If they would just communicate with us.

I don't really have one, accept they haven't yet fixed the phpBB3 bug where the layout gets mixed up for a minute and you have to refresh the page to get it back. It's becomes annoying...

However, other than that I don't have anything againt them Razz

I program and design websites as part of my job and i know for utilities such as a forum provider, its really not that easy to wave your hand over it and say "Hey, there's that new admin panel we were talking about"

They have other things to do aswell and alot to take into consideration. When the last update came out people moaned because it never contained a super amazing set of updates, instead tweaks that people were requesting.

I have alot of respect for these guys.....

regards

so you are telling me that peole wanted:

three new admin panels
pretty topic colors

etc etc?

I mean dont get me worng I know it cant be easy but by God there was never a need for all these admin panel. We still get questions about where things are in the admin panel.

Placehold your points are well taken, believe me. It has just been a long and tiring journey for the last 2 years. Forumotion has its dark side believe me it does.

I have to agree.

That our suggestions seem quite overlooked.
But that's my only beef. Not even enough to make a sandwich out of it.

And it's still a heck of a lot better then the other forum sites I have seen
