Help- Forum Permissions reset!!

My forum permissions keep getting reset like if I want to edit it it went back to simple mode and I lost the permissions- How do I prevent it from reseting it???

It changes only back to simple mode if your settings match with a preset. For example, if you have set the fields "read", "view" and "vote" set to guests in advanced mode, it will jump back to simple and you will see "All" in the dropdown presets menu of "View the forum and its messages". No settings are being changed when it switches back.

So confusing- I dont let guests vote or read, however.

It was just an example. There are several presets in simple-mode. If any of those is matched in advanced mode, it can jump back.

But the point is that the permissions are not being changed - the options you have set, will remain.
