Re: How do i make my own custom backgrounds?
Yes you can make custom background and add them to your forum.
First get photo filtre, it is free online once you down load it, explore every thing on it, I made my green marbelized theme using photo filtre, and it has tons of other masques and filters you can use.
Once you have created your background image, then add your image to your forum using Css stylesheet.

In my opinion paint.net is a much better choice than photo-filtre because it's running better with less crashes and because it comes closer to phtoshop, but it's your guys' choice, not mine^^
So, if you add the following to your CSS stylesheet you won't have any problem.
The CSS-stylesheet is at
Admin Panel --> Display --> Colors --> The second header
Oh yeah, before you asked, there is no code for stretching a picture. I can only advise you to create background pictures in a size of 1024x768 pixels, this is the standard resolution. Add a fitting background color and people, like me, with a higher resolution have also something nice to look at.
