Forum spacing at top after addition of Forum widgets Empty Forum spacing at top after addition of Forum widgets

Post by Merlin333 August 10th 2008, 8:51 pm

Since the addition of forum widgets the top of my forum is "ragged". This is because the formatting at the top of the old page stops where the widget addition begins (yellow line) and leaves a blank area. When the forum widget is active, I'd like to be able to the users last access information (font in white) to go to the left most edge of the forum (red arrow) and not stop at the border of the widget column. This causes the forum widget columns' top spacing to be the same as the rest of the forum columns and not vary from page to page. Please advise on how I can do this or is this something the author should do?

Thanks

This appears to be the CSS in the area that controls this section of the page. The bold is the actual text involved.

Does anyone know:
  1. which template ID controls this area?
How to change the code to cause it to "fly out" over the forum widget when the widget is active?
If this is not the correct one, which is and #1 and #2?

I guess the quest is what and where is it at? I'm thinking that with a little css it can be easily fixed. Does your template do the same thing when you add forum widgets?
