Is it possible to make my forum private?

I heard it was possible to make a forum private, so that the only way to register would be if you had an invitation.

I checked in the admin panel, and saw nothing about it.

Is it true, or at all possible?

Hello,

You can make it private, but this won't prevent people from registering and seeing the forum. I have no idea where you heard only being able to register if you're invited.
