help! how to change forum width of phbb2

Hi, my forum width is too big for 1024 x 768 screen. I followed the tutorials here but to no avail. I changed the forum width at admin, general, configuration but it has no effect. I also tried to edit the CSS but I cannot locate the Code: #wrap. Im using phbb version 2. my forum is http://legal.friendhood.net

Yes I've ben getting the same problem when I try to change my forum back to phpbb2, I would also like help on this.

yes mine's 880 px in with but the nav links stretch the layout, so it takes up the whole screen. Is there a CSS code to change this?

Well your nav links dont seem to creat any problem
try using width in %. use 100% or 90%.And also tell me how did u add the adsense to the footers.

To change the forum width in Phpbb2

1. Log into your forum

2. Navigate to:

Admin Panel\Display\Colors\CSS Style Sheet

3. Enter the following code, adjusting to your preferance and pressing "Submit" to save

There's a whole lot of buttons left and the bodyline is streched.

Tizo, this code was for phpBB v2 only. Version 3 uses other classes:

When I look at your forum, I don't see any problem with navlinks as well...

That's because I'm using PHPBB3 right now, and I wanted to change back to phpbb2 but when I do so, the buttons all line up and sretch the forums width.

Are you selecting the option to "Keep Current style"?

If you select this then because your style would have been for phpbb3 when switching back to phpbb2 it will alter all the images etc because its not meant for for phpbb2

Try selecting a new version, then go back to phpbb2 and select "Default Version Style"

When you select a new style it won't augment
