putting links to my other forum

this other forum is on the stand still as it is not an editboard forum. it is from a different site offering free forums. i just was just wondering if i could put a link to it from my site with editboard without braking any rules.

You mean on the support forum?
Its OK to put the link in your own forum, but not on the support ones.
Check if that forum provider also has a support forum, if they do, see if you can advertise that forum on there.
