headers modification help

I just logged into my forum again and all the menu icons at the top are duplicated, I have edited as many as they can and removed the duplicates, but cannot seem to remove the " you have a new message one ", the error it throws up when I try to edit it is " you must provide menu name "

Any ideas guys, as this is the only one thats left which is duplicated.

I'm having the same problem! I know that reasons and the solutions for this problem had been explained many times on this forum, but I can't find those topics. So please, can somebody put the link of those topics where the solution has been explained...

One of the administrators gave this link once: https://2img.net/i/empty.gif and he suggested that we instert this link in the Display area... just to avoid to leave the empty spaces. But this link doesn't work anymore. The problem still appears...

Please help...

I have tried replacing the gifs also,
it does not work and its the only one I have left which cannot be removed.
