How to upload Google html code to forum

How to upload Google html verify code to my forum. They offer two ways
ones is html and second is meta tag. This is on Google Webmaster page.
I hope you will understand what about is this. tnx

hi...First go to admin panel and homepage and choose Other Meta tag and write your verify code Thats all..but not html second one verify code.

You dont need to trust me.Editboard doesnt allow the google spider to crawl your forum.I wish they would though.

Belive me I already tried.

control panel--->Homepage--->under site description,choose Other Meta Tags---->paste your verify code.Thats all.
I think Editboard allows the google spider to crawl our forums because I checked it.

this is the answer from google...
We've detected that your server returns a status of 200 (found successfully) for pages that don't exist. We can't verify sites with this configuration because it would enable anyone to verify ownership of your site. You can try our meta tag verification method or change your server's configuration.

I think theres another person has got your google veriy code.have you got any other admin in your forum and are you sure you pasted your verify the right place that I told you?
