But it seems that this feature is bugged and i have tried several icons.I tried to put a custom one.Or even one of the default but nothing.Is there a image restriction?or something else we need to know?

Did you remembered to click the save button after you added the direct link for the custom favicon ? If so then what is the problem? You don't see the favicon at all ?

Try uploading your image file to http://www.iconj.com and then get the link in the HTML, like this: http://www.iconj.com/ico/k/d/kdttifecdq.ico! Now put it in and press save. If it doesn't appear, refresh a few times.

Also you may need to clear your cookies I had to when i did it
