Post by ohiofisher September 23rd 2008, 2:23 am

I know of some other forums not phpbb that have rss feeds that are automatically posted on their site when a new topic becomes availble.
This site has a seperate forum for this and everytime a new sublect ecomes availible it is posted here
http://www.ohiogamefishing.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=100
RSS FEED? Untitled-1
And comes from what I think is an RSS feed on this page
http://ohiodnr.com/news/home_page/newsreleasefeed/tabid/18276/rssid/1/Default.aspx
RSS FEED? Untitled1
If it helps any here is the site I am trying to get the info onto my site from.

well that is a v-bulletin forum. formtions is totally diff and way easier in my opinion.
a lot of the times with forums such as v-bulletin.. or a phpbb boards that is on a paid server. you have to upload certain modules for what ever purpose it may be your trying to do..i'm pretty sure that is the case for v-bulletin free/or non free boards. that's probably about all i can tell you or discuss here considering this is not in regards to a forumotion board. i would just do s search for there support forum. i can not provide the link b/c i think it's against forumtions policy not to promote advertise or allow links to other forum host that are not affiliated or in that case forumotion.

you can try to pm a mod or admin on this.but i'n sure there's not much they are at liberty to sat about other forum host. sorry.. but find the support place and they'll help ya.

actually now that i have read you question again your not asking for help with a v-bulletin forum. your wondering if forumotions has this feature or if your able to do something like this on your forum??
well this is def one for the mods or admin.. I'm not even sure if it is exactly a rss feed question.or if i understand correctly i like to try to help when i can. but you def through me for a loop with this one.. staff will help ya.

is what your asking.
is there a way that info posted on the Ohio department of resources will automatically go to your forum? well no. if it's information you want on any given part of that site. cant you just make a post with the link going to the info you want? or you can always copy the info and start a thread post on your forum with it.

if this is no way what your asking? my deepest apologize to you. i am a Lil confused on exactly what your trying to do here. but it seems that your are asking if there's a new topic started on the Ohio resource website. if it can be re- directed to your forum useing and rss feed?

i dont think it's possible on a free forum host.but dont quote me on that. those kinds of options are usually available when your forum is on a paid server and you install/upload the appropriate modulus that will enable you to things like that.
