Links in the portals

Is there a way to make a link open a new tab when you click it instead of taking you off of the portal?

Most of the default links in the header (Home, Portal, Memberlist, etc.) don't seem to have the option of opening in a new window. However, links such as Calendar, Gallery, FAQ, Search, and all new custom links have this option available. Just go to: Administration Panel > Display > Headers & Navigation (under 'Homepage' in left column) > Select the little gear icon under the 'Actions' header next to the link that you want to edit. Once you've done this, just make sure that the 'Open in a new window' option is enabled. Click 'Save'.

If you're just referring to a link that you created somewhere else on the page, make sure that you add target="_blank" to the URL.
