new URL will the old one still work?

Im wanting to point my spiritcharms.co.uk url onto my forum, and i just wondered if the old URL thats pointing to my forum now (spiritcharms-nice-topic thingimibobs) will still work with the new one put into place. This is just in case any of my members have it bookmarked or the old URL is in directories and such. More the latter really as i can email all my members the new one anyway.

Yes your old URL will still be there, if the person clicks on your old URL they will still be led to your site.
