When I came, there was already the suggestions sections, the graphics proposal & gallery (not requests) and the general discussions.
Tristou opened the Forum Promotions very soon after my hiring as a Gmod at the time.
The Graphics Requests and Staff came only much after

I remember that from when I first looked for hosting here. I was a lurker I didnt sign up for a while afterwards.

Ahhh memories ! I was global moderator for already 1 month when this screenshot (I suppose it's from web-archive.org) has been taken ! The French support forum (the oldest of all SF, the forum is online since May 2, 2004) also had this old-fashioned design. Then one of the ex-admins of the French support made a new style for the Frech SF, but we never could get the PSD files, so I had to make the buttons myself with MY style since I began to be good enough on Gimp. So that's why the orange and glassy style came a few months after the French LDA-style version of the same style.

And in these old times, Forumotion was still called Editboard on the english side, while the French name had always been Forumactif.

On this English forum, the activity was quite flat until August 2006 when I saw that the number of posts per day has increased when I came back from vacation in Bas-Saint-Laurent area.

2005! Wow, that doesn't seem that long unless you realize it closely. But that was three years ago. And just think about this, there was only 2 members online at that time. Now, theres over 500 (over exajerated) online in just 12-Hours! How in the world could that happen within three years. Things would really change, huh!

From some simple forum provider to , well lets be serious, a really good forum provider. And by the looks of things ... it will be a couple month before forumotion becomes the leader in forum services...

The new techies are working really hard on something that will totally revolutionize forums as we know it... and it looks like forumotion is the first to touch this ground.

so all hail FM, if we continue like this... we'll be undisputed in forum services

I think forumotion it is the best "free" forum provider by far i have tried loads and always come back to forumotion.

and I know what the techs are working on lol and it does look great
