Removal of Side Columns

I think , no.. I just don't like the column here on the right side,

i suggest some may be removed
1.profile- yeah its a bit usefull

2.shortcuts, wellidon't think anyone uses them and especially after staff has spoiler links now i think they may not be used , they just take up space

3.same goes for other services and misc

4.poll: welli don't think its usefull in any sense , give me two reason it should be there

5.Latest topic: Does anyone reads it actuallly???

6.then theres shopmotion and top poster ...well I see itsometimesand kind a gives mentalsatisfaction of sorts!

I have the biggest disagreement with google search, well it takesyour precious space
no one hardly uses it everyone likes togotogoogle main page !

keywords and social book marking ; don't know about them asthey are way down but i don't think there's needed!

Top poster should go as people just want to raise their post count and that's not what the forums about. ShopMotion needs to be there and should stay.

But in all i don't agree with them going at all

I'd normally agree with the Top Poster's bit, but given the excessivly high post count needed to enter, I think it's less obvious
Besides, I like knowing I'm kingpin

ShopMotion => I'd keep
ShortCuts => I use 'em
Poll => Yeah, I don't like it too much either
Profile => I use it alot: connection, avatar visualisation
Search => Members don't use it enough, I don't see the harm keeping it

The rest (social bookmark, keywords etc), I ain't got issues with, they can stay by my book

Well, I thought the right-hand column was a nice touch, so I've added it to my forum. I've included profile, news, latest topics and quick links widgets.

Btw I notice Facebook (and others) aren't included in the social bookmarking section - is this something we can add ourselves?

I like to look at my avatar on every page.

I think that the Keywords and the Poll can go. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't use them.

Top Posters, ShopMotion, Search and Shortcuts I sometimes use, so they can all stay.

Latest Topics I use frequently. Especially if I'm viewing a thread and notice a response in another thread I have posted in, I can quickly navigate to it.

I use the poll service all the time... if the poll options are open on the side bar thats pretty much the only time I vote and find polls there.

the latest topics has to stay.... I use it all the time... after posting a message I take a look at the recent post to see if anybody replied to an eariler post of mine.

shopmotion is fine... although the images are done really badly ... and on a black background look BAD.

top posters has to stay... its a reputation thing ... (need to beat kilsek)

the rest is also fine ...

1- I want this for my forum

2- I never use this and actually never noticed it until right now

3- (same as 2)

4- (same as 2 and 3)

5- I use this every time I'm here before I go looking at anything else

6- Shopmotions their shop so that would have to stay and top poster seems to me at least just to be there, it doesn't hurt or help anything, it just exist's

I've never used the google search and I've never read the keywords. Social networking I suppose would have to stay as a sourse or revenue some how, maybe I don't know, I've never used that either

I disagree.

I like to see the current poll and vote in it without having to look in the topic, and I think key words are kinda important in case if someone needs to look up on a topic about HTML for example.
