[only topic] What's your favourite video game?

What i mean by video is on any console, PC, xbox, PS2 etc. what game do you like, why and how long have you had it?


My Favourite game is Jurassic Park Operation Genesis.
Why?: Just the thought of dinosaurs sends shivers down my spine, i love them ever since i was 5, I've seen all the movies and when i was eight it was released. I couldn't afford it and it then went of the markets, only recently i have got it and it's a well good PS2 game.
How long have I had it?: Roughly about 1 year.

Well I have a list:

Martix Path of Neo.
Superman Returns the game.
Kingdom Hearts 1, and 2.
Dark Cloud 2.
Xmen 3, the game.
All Dragon Ball Z games!

Yup I love it all!

I would have to say although it is now 4-5 years old i still can't keep away from "Freelancer", a few of you may not have heard about it but as yet no one has produced a space sim that comes close to the multi player friendly, Adrenalin rushing game play this has.

For those that remember the game "Elite" where you make money in a vast universe e.t.c this has been described by some as a modern massive 3d play alike of that.

The game is the reason i created forums with your good selfs and is still very popular, even the Single Player game has a great story line that keeps you coming back to find out the conclusion.

So all in all if you want your moneys worth from a game i am sure this game can be picked up for very little money these days and would be worth every Penny/Euro/Dollar.

My favourite video game is "Dance Dance Revolution"

I play that on the PS2 ^^

The Sims 2. I love it. ^^
And I also love Final Fantasy series.
But one of my favorite series is absolutely SingStar, for PS2, in which you have to sing. Perfect for getting embarassed in front of the public.

I'm not to big on the new gaming consoles..But I just bought my husband the new XBOX 360 Elite.. He Loves them single person shooter games.

But I miss the Old School games, Like Sonic the Hedgehog, Qbert, Super mario Bros, Donkey Kong. I still play some of them on my N64 console ..haha

Oh and I just added the game Frogger to my myspace page to play while i'm on there..tehe

With the Wii i's possible to get those old games

Caihlem is right-they remake a lot of the old games. Like you can get all the old sonic games in a new game called " Mega Collection" or something, and put it in your wii because wii playes Game Cube games.
I know what you mean though XD I still have the N64 because older games can be just as fun

Ohh I never heard of that :O Then again, I've neglected my Wii. XD I've been too busy for my video games. Which says something.

I've been using Nintendo since I can remember (got the whole GameBoy collection )

What you do is you buy special points, I think it's 20 € for about 2000, and on the Wii interface you see wha games there is and the number of points needed. Average price of an old good game: 1000, average price normal: 800

Ok so I'm clear on the points thingy now,thanx. But I just spent well over $600 american dollars on my husbands xbox 360 elite, just the console, not including any games . That was a huge chunk'a money for his new toy..This Wii thingy can't break my bank account will it? I'd be willing to spend maybe $100-$200 on it, but more then that. It had better be some kinda awesomeness i've never seen before..haha

He should be able to offer it to you and take you to dinner
