Category Thing Creation

I was wondering about if you guys could help me make a new Topic/Category/Whatever its called. I mean this Please help someone

well this can be a lot to explain be cause there are a few ways to have categories and forums the way you want them.then theres sub forums.

Just add a category to the forum

Name: Whatever the name of the category
Attached to: |
Position this category after: leave it blank

Description: leave it blank

After making the category just move it up or down. Hope you get it.

Okay, place it under whatever name & then move it up through Forums & categories tab.

i'm not laughing at you i know it's not funny.
i was just thinking about the first time i tried doing it.
oh what a mess it was.
it's not that it's hard it's confusing the first couple times of doing it.

you should come over to the link in my avatar.
we create custom forums and work with members to give them the general idea on how to do the basics with all that. or you just continue to get help here to. just figured i would let you know.

but try this.
start a category and put it at the very top as far as you can go. then be sure to add a forum to the category.it will ask you. place that right after the category.
then any more forums you want. just attach to the first forum of the category you just created.

hope that helps. remember you can always delete them and start over if you have to.
