Fraid not, but it must be possible ie using firebug to read the widgets code and pasting the same into the header.
Or using the same to add javascript into the header template if you have template editing.

it cant be done, forumotion source code are enscrypted.

we talking about HTML hompage here, also i dont think that javascript for latest topic does exist. that default latest topic by forumotion are handle via .php, which we dont have access for it

ACP -> Modules -> Forum Widgets Management

In the Forum Widgets General options, choose yes on Display Forum Widgets and click Save.

Scroll down and you'll see the Forum Widgets Mangement. Drag the available widgets (i.e. Recent Topics) either to the left or right side of your forum. When you are satisfied with their positioning, click Save. You should now have the Recent Topics both in your portal and your homepage. Just like I do with my forum. ^_^

another option

try to make a widget of your rss feed
you can do it here Make A Blidget
if your done in your forum widget get the javascript code
paste it at the homepage message
and you have your LATEST TOPIC one at homepage
