Background overlay color

How do I change the background overlay color?

Example:

As circled in blue, I want to change it to white, I've tried every option in the Display --> Color menu.

I'm using phpbb2

Do you have a edited css? If you do you have to change the color there.

Nope, haven't edited any CSS, I installed a default HitSkin.

Ya but many of them come with a edited CSS. Can you double check. If there is coding in your CSS that means it was edited by the person that created the theme

There is a basic CSS, but it's too large to post, what part do I look for to change?`

Edit: The basic CSS cannot be changed, the actual CSS is blank.

Ok try this:

admin panel
Display
Colors

Click on the view Css link in top left:

Copy all

Paste it into your blank css area

Click save

Now look for:

Code:

.bodyline{

 background-color: #000000;

Change the color there.
