problem with guests

Hello, Ive recently started a forum and im having problems with "guests" being able to enter certain sections of the forum. I have ticked everything to make sure only members have access to these areas so im unsure as to why a "guest" can get on the acual board without a username??

any help would be much appreciated

have you checked all your forum permissions to make sure there is none allowing guests? Also have you set your special rights to members only?
