Optional Image resize script

Do you think there should be an image resize script, which resizes images, expanding forum width automatically. I think it should be optional...

If i understood, it would be like in invision free boards.
The admin presets a max image size, and every image added to the forum are resized to the preset size. (except if image is smaller than preset size). Then you get a link over or under the images telling for Ex: 85% of original size, click HERE to see full size.

It would be great, stop ppl post to high width or height images.
