backup problem Empty backup problem

sorry to be a pain but...

I backed up my site to two days ago and for some reason posts have completely dissapeared within certain forums - posts which have been there for weeks/month.

Is there any way i can restroe this? Why did this happen?

hmm - they seem to be there but saying they wasnt - ok weird - i am sorry if i am taking unnesisary space here
