Can't get images to stop resizing. Empty Can't get images to stop resizing.

When I upload an image to put as my navicons for the index, it keeps resizing them so there's a bunch of empty space, which then gets squished down so they look all tiny and rediculous.

There's what I've got so far. Does anyone know how to keep it from changing the images?

OK I got it so it stops adding empty space, but it's still resizing the images, and I want this to stop. How do I stop it?
