New posts problem

One of my members wrote...

Dunno if it's a bug or not, but it seems like as of the last few days, when I first log in and do the "view all posts from your last login" it works just fine. If I post in any of the threads it lists it then marks *all* the threads read.

Even if I go back to the forum main page, everything is marked as read, even tho I know they're not.

Can someone help me out with this?

Unfortunately this is an ongoing bug, At the moment there hasn't been any fixes for it however it is something that has, is and will continue to be looked into until its fixed

It has been a few months sense I posted about this bug. It seems to still be an ongoing problem and is hindering the forum....is there any updates to the progress of getting this fixed yet?

This is hapening with my forum also my members are not happy and not on as much i feel if this is not sorted soon it will be the end of the forum.

Please please can anyone shed some light on this i dont really want to have the hassle of finding another provider.

We are having this same problem again where members can only edit posts and not make new ones.

If you log in it shows all the new forums with posts as blue...if you log out without checking anything and log back in you have to look at the scroll to see new posts. Very annoying and a lot of posts get missed because of this....also please anyone hijacking the thread with other problems please start your own thread.

Well that happens, because you log out. Once your session is ended the new posts thing will go. There is nothing you could do about it.

Well it happens if I navigate away from the page too without logging out?

It does that to me too.

Not really, because i think its setup to work like that.
