Hierarchy

Greetings

I've already tried to do a search by the topics that came up looking for hyearchy won't help.

Problem is, I have a forum, teh structure is

Category A
Category B
-----SubCatA
--------Forum1
--------Forum2
-----SubCatB
--------Forum3
--------Forum4
-----SubCatC
--------SubSubCatA
-------------SubForum1
-------------SubForum2
--------Forum5
--------Forum6
--------Forum7

I set forum hierarchy "Split categories on index", but the categories disappear, with Forum keeping the appropriate indent, but of course everything becoming confused like:

Category A
Category B
--------Forum1
--------Forum2
--------Forum3
--------Forum4
-------------SubForum1
-------------SubForum2
--------Forum5
--------Forum6
--------Forum7


What am I doing wrong? I would just like it to appear as it does in the admin panel: a neat structured tree.

From your first post, it seems that is the correct/normal way to have it displayed. Could you provide the link of your forum?

Right now, only "upper" categories are shown, once one enters them, the sub categories are not and everything is shown in a lump.

It seems fine with me. Did you try all of the structures in the Hiearchy? Maybe it's your theme?

Tried all of them and changing theme... still the subcategories vanish

I'm gonna try joining your forum and see if I can see this in first-person-view.

EDIT: Can you show me a screenshot in your admin panel of what the categories and forums are suppose to look like?
