Forumotion's xmas present

First topic message reminder :

What do u wish that forumotion could give to you, the user(tho admin/mods are welcome to join in) If there were lets say 22Billion dollars, they wanted to spend on users.

What would u like them to give u, it can be anything.


I know i would really like to get a much fast computer and internet connection
and some more Graphics Programs.

I think most of what I would "want" could be done "in house"...

1- a clear answer to why when you go into your templates to edit them it says you can remove the footer except the PHP part (that must have been added by techies) when some others around here call it "violating the TOS".

I think that would clear up all the confusion for everyone asking about it and that would ask about it... I mean really, how can you violate something if your told its ok to do?

2- a clearification on the part of the TOS that says "adult content". Ok, we all know what porn and nudity is but some contries are far diffrent than others on exactly what the meaning to "adult content" is.

Even people within those countries have diffrent feeling to the word and a cleared up meaning to that could also help things around here when someone asks "can I post none nude echi" or "can I post sports illistrated swimsuit stuff / maxim type things?" or even "can I tell dirty jokes?" which does happen to get posted because of the grey meaning of it...

3- I'd like to know how to restructure the PM's so they are more like threads than how they are now...

being limited to only 50 PMs and having to constantly delete is a drag and I have people that would rather hold on to their PM's and not have to save them off site or out right delete them... I know restructuring is possible.

(now for something that will cost money)

4- I too would like a bottle of JD and wild turkey

I have never had wild turkey...is it pretty good? Is that another brand of bourbon or what? I know JD and Jim Beam is, but can't remember what Wild Turkey is.

I like my rum too, and my boyfriend bought me a bottle of Captain Morgan yesterday for my birthday, and it was really nice....very smooth and tasty!

Yes, its another brand Whiskey, I think its pretty good but it does take time to get used to since its pretty harsh too.

Endless, I tried a whiskey a couple weeks ago that was really harsh and just GROSS lol It had too much of that smokey flavor. I felt like I was drinking liquid wood! lol

I am really sorry about that everyone!

I have a sleep disorder called narcolepsy where you can fall asleep at anytime, anyplace, doing pretty much anything. Yet at night you get insomnia, which is worse when I have to deal with severe pain and heart burn lol

Well, it usually takes awhile before they kick in, so I usually have time to do some things first. But on occassion it will trigger my narcolepsy and throw me in REM sleep which is the dream like sleep. That will result in the above post, if the pills hit me when I am typing.

Thanks Cherry and Demonspike....the sleep disorderS that I have aren't the easiest to deal with but hey, whatcha gonna do? Not curable. I have basically 5 sleep disorders. lol

Narcolepsy - causing one to be thrown into REM dream sleep instantly, whenever or wherever, and excessive daytime sleepiness, meaning I am always struggling to stay awake. But a strange symptom is night time insomnia.

Sleep Apnea - I stop breathing several times during sleep, making it impossible to reach all the sleep cycles needed for a restless sleep, and risk to heart damage. Had surgery for that, very painful surgery I might add, and while I still have it, it is only mild now. I just stop breathing like maybe 96 times per night these days. lol Also causing excessive daytime sleepiness.

Circadian Rhythm Disorder - When the melatonin in your brain causing sleepiness by telling the body it is time to sleep is released at the wrong time of the day. Basically we have our days and nights reversed. We are the night owls. Causing insomnia at night, and excessive daytime sleepiness.

Restless Leg Syndrome - the legs move uncontrollably at night not allowing a full deep sleep, reaching all levels of sleep. This is one that I have that is very mild, not causing much concern.

Insomnia - which I think most people understand, and my insomnia is more just the symptoms of the other disorders.

Now, I would like to add this to my xmas list. A cure for these, a medication that will help these without all the horrible side effects, and/or just ONE great nights sleep. hehehe Hey anesthesia would do....I loved that feeling when I went under anesthesia, when I felt like I was going into the deepest sleep ever in my life! Too bad that great feeling didn't last more than like a second and a half! lol

Well, I would also like to add to my wish list...... A CURE for all of Skittles sleeping dissorders..

I would prefer that Skittles was cured and had an easier life....rather than me have Nessa.... (Still want Nessa though) However, if I had to choose only ONE THING I could have, then the cures for Skittles would be what I'd choose.
