More Smilies

Wish we had more then a 151 smilies to add with that low count cant even add avatars

should be at least a limit of 500!!!!!!!

If there was a poll, I'd vote no. I personally don't really like smilies, they make forums look unprofessional and messy.

Anything can make the forums messy and unprofessional, Scripttester. But, what Prince said, it would take up a lot of space. We need that space for like more character limits in posts/threads and other things.

VOTED NO! There are a lot of reason why this shouldn't be added.

I'm sorry, but why would anyone need more than 100 smilies, anyway? All I added were variations of the Awesome Smilie and my members were happy.

I am not sure but I think that you could add what I have added to my forum as an image gallery (not the pic gallery that comes with the forum) But rather a post that I have specifically for Welcome Images, and one for Smilie images, etc.

In it, I have the img codes listed along with the pic of the smilie that I have hosted in my photobucket account. This way it uses the bandwidth from photobucket whenever the code is used.

I have them all listed and have the thread locked, so that no one can write in there. It is just specifically set up for people to feel free to use in their posts.

I am think that it takes up less room that way. I usually use that for my smilies and images that are a bit too large for the regular smilie list.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong about this, because I admit I don't know much about bandwidth and space that smilies and images take up.

I would think after a while it would use way too much space if everyone had that many smilies on their forums.

i'd actually vote yes, i think we could do with more smilie space, maybe not 500 - but more none the less.

500 smilies ?! Common thats really too much. If you pick the right ones, you have 50-100 smilies really enough to totally express your thoughts / feelings.

150 are pretty good (They could be less)
500 smilles are too much.
