Illegal forum

I Pm'ed Cahliem about this and he told me to PM Typlo which I did last week. Nothing has been done about it. As you can see the footer of this forum: http://windows.topgoo.net is illegal as it doesn't show the forumotion footer. I got told it was illegal and now nothing gets done about this forum?

It appears to be a phpbb2 forum which does allow users to remove the links at the bottom using template editing, If this has been reported to Caihlem and Typlo we shall let them deal with it now Smile

Wt?? whats wrong with my forum? I removed the link bellow, but I leave the phpbb link on. So what is the problem? You prince go get a real life.

i thought you were allowed to remove them down there. i know other people that do.
that's just like there's is no written rule saying you have to keep your affiliates in your widget. that's forumotion and most people take that out.
you should leave your report abuse thing at the bottom. because if somethings reported it will go to you that way. without that there it forces people to report directly to forumotion without you seeing it first. so i'm not saying anyone wants to report something. but if they do wouldn't you rather have it come to first to take care of the problem instead of getting put into online guardians hands god forbid?lol

but it's up to you. just thought i would point that out to ya Smile

Prince you should now that this is not ware your supposed to report things.
my personal opinions dont matter but i find it a lil rude that someone so bluntly report something like this for all to see. i mean were talking about a footer. it's not like he has a forum for plotting terroristic strikes or something.. i hope

Yeah, my forum doesn't have any illegal links and now my footer is the problem? Now, why did enable the templates editing, If we can make our forum as we want? what will be the point if we are not able to do it?

and about leavinf the report abuse at the bottom...

I am not scared that someone st.. can come here and report me If I know that I don't have illegal material in my forum...

i hope not that's all i ever used when it comes to phppb and forumotion boards.

the thing that gets me about the whole thing is why would it be illegal?
possible breaking tos would be one thing.if it were the case ware forumotion did not want to allow people to to it they would not let them. but illegal. mwii

True enough..

My URL hasn't even got anything linked to Forumotion either... I don't think on my Forum it even says Forumotion anywhere..

I left a few links here, dunno what they say or do, but I know they do not say anything about Forumotion, one link takes me right here.

I don't think it's fair to drag this out into the open though, if you want to know 'Prince Caspian', why something has NOT been done, then you should ask the people who said to you that they will deal with it.

IF nothing has been done about it, you should assume that nothing needs to be done about it.

In the mean time, maybe you should go about your own business and stay out of other people's

Sorry Gunhack X, I can see this could be really embarasing for you.

There is a name we give people who do what you are doing 'Prince Caspian' it's called "Shit Stirer" and that's what they do, stir problems up for people.. which is highly unfair and unecessary to do.

I got told by both typlo and Caihlem that it violates TOS to remove or edit the footer on any version

Their the ones that eventually get deleted

The links revert back to forumotion, php,punbb and invision. They also provide critical links to report the forum, report users, contact the admins and gives recognition to forumotion.

Not only that it provides forumotion with the rights and the means to provide free forums to us all,
