Automatic Avatar Resize? Empty Automatic Avatar Resize?

When you set the max limit, does it shrink he avatar automatically, or does it disallow the avatar in general? If it disallows the avatar, is there a way to make it auto resize?

It will resize the avatar the allowed limit.
