Guest "Read Topic Headline" .....

Hello

i need a Option that Guest can Enter a Forum and Read the Topic HEADLINES
but cant view the Topic.

Is there any Options ??? i only can set "View the Forum" and View the Topic"
but i need "View the Forum + View the Topic Headline" but dont read the Topic.

go to admin panel >general > categories and forums, choose the forums u would like the guess to be able to "View" the forum and "read" the topics, After your finished hit save and ur guess will see forum title on home page and be able to click and reat topics.

"View The Forum" means that users can see forum titles on home page.

"Read The Topics" means that users can enter forum title and read the topics.

he asks (and i would also like to know) if there is any option that can give permission to the guests to view the forum, read the topic titles but don't read the messages in the topic...

If, on your home page, you have set to show also the last title thats being posted in, then the options given above will work

Guests can see my home page, can see the last thread in action of a certain area, but they cannot read inside the title

so i guess this cant be done...

Display>HOmepage>Structure & Hierarchy

Under the hierarchy frame at the bottom,
Show the last topic titles on index :
Check it to YES.

yes i do it , but guest dont see the topic headlines on forum index, must i do more ?

Move your cursor over the last post option where it shows the threads.
