links in the chatbox

hello everyone
I've searched almost everywhere and yet found nothing.
I'm trying to post link in my chatbox but it's not clickable
I mean u can't click on that, it's just like any other text posted..

I dunno if it's just like that or if it's something that I can change somehow

Its like that only i think. Its in that way so that no one abuses the chatbox in advertising external links. Don't think it can be changed either.

you can make links clickable if you use the [url=URL "LINK" HERE]"CLICK" WORD(S)[/url] code

Other than that you could copy the link then paste it to your browser for it to click

I even tried the html link code, but it wasn't that.

it's weird anyway..
the admins allready have banning and clearing the chatbox options
so why it have to be so complicated to post a simple link..

yea it's strange. links dont work but click-able thumb nails do.
i think it has something to do with what Sanket is saying for people to come in and spam. but copy and past works so whats the difference? lol.

oh did you try adding the url tags like said above? i would think that works.
if you look at the codes for click-able thumbs they just have the url around the img tags with the link in the center of them both?

oh all you do it type it out then put the link in the center.
