Possible to change the forumotion's tag in the url?

Heya guys!

I'm annoyed by something. My forum's url end with ".forumieren.de" what is a german version of the .forumotion.com. It is because I am german and when I opened the forum a year ago I simply searched for "Free forum" on google. It wasn't planned to become what it is now. (It's a longer story I bet I told before) However, google gives me with a german IP address mainly german sites and back then I really didn't care what I can do, I only needed a forum to spam around with some friends^^

Now our site is global and not only germans and it's very hard for others to remind that "forumieren". We also do not plan yet to buy a domain name. I'd rather want it to be .forumotion.com. Is it possible to change that now?

Yes buy a custom domain name.

So, besides buying a domain name? All I want is .forumotion.com and not .forumieren.de.

I don't have the money to buy the domain name and I'm not sure if they would donate enough money ^^

I am not sure if you could do that. Probably not. Never seen that happen, here at forumotion.

Okay, I found it myself!

So, to answer it for everyone else:

Admin Panel -> General -> Forum Address -> There you find the forumotion tags listed one time by catogaries and one time by alphabet. Just take out the one you want (I advise the alphabetic order if you know what you want) and click on ok. Then it's gonna be changed.

~~FUCK! SHIT! GODDAMIT!~~

I just changed it and was pretty happy for exact two minutes. Then I realised that our buisness cards show the old link! And ".forumieren.de" is not listed! Crap, that was so dumb... I need to change it back to what it was....
I try some things for a while and excuse the triple posts, but that's obviously something that needs an extra post....

EDIT: Okay, I found it. I had to change the board language to german. Now it's all okay.

I gonna change the url somewhen next year. Now I know how to make it. Now the topic can get closed. Laughing
