Permissions

Is there any way to have visitors see my Forum's main page, but not the individual entries with the Forum?

I un-checked the Visitors in Permissions, but when I go to view the Forum on the Internet, I notice I can't view the Forum, I just see a 'sign-in' screen.

Any way to view the Main page of Forum, that shows categories, but not the individual entries in each category/forum?

Do you mean like having a category with topics in it where users can see the topics but not actually read them?
If that's what you mean, go to Administration Panel -> General -> Categories and Forums -> (Choose a category/forum Permissions) Click Advanced
Under guests check View the Forum and Uncheck Read the Topics

1. Administration Panel
2. General tab
3. Categories and forums
4. Click on a forum
5. Click Permissions
6. Check Advanced
7. For guests : view the forum, uncheck it
Do it for all the forums.
