possible to require payment to sign up to my forum?

I want to charge a fee for somebody to sign up. Is there a way to do this?

You would have to create a fourm

Call the forum, "Membership Applications"
be sure to make the forum visable and so guests can posts replies

Make a post in that forum announcing that payment is required to join. In that post be sure to put a link to the donate for your forum.

I dont want them to donate points. I want them to have actually pay. I have a credit card processor I am trying to figure out if there is a way to integrate an actual payment system.

I already have a forum with them.

I want guest to be able to view all thread, but cannot post unless they are a member which will require a payment.

Hi, there is no system to help you do this, which as you may doubt is obvious...

Otherwise, I don't really see how you could install a system and knowwho payed an who didn't, sorry

I guess I will have to put a paypal link in the homepage and once they pay I will accept their membership
