banned member problem Empty banned member problem

Post by elfie April 5th 2006, 7:47 pm

I have recently banned a member from my site due to frequent abuse. I banned his ip address and user name though i have a problem. Is there anyway to carry over a ban to a chat room i have linked my site as he keeps coming and abusing people. Unfortunately this chat room is linked to a freewebs site so I am guessing that there is nothing more i can do until i use a pay chat but i thought i would ask.

Thank you

Hello

Your freeweb link is visible to everyone. I can suggest you to put this link in a new locked forum which you set the permissions to "Read & Write - Registered (Hidden)". So, only the members will see the link.

If the chat room's CBox, go to the admin panel and ban an IP address.

This problem has been solved since 10 days, so it's useless to reply.

I close this topic to prevent flood.
