Down loadable documents

Is there a way I can put documents, letters, forums on my forum so membes can download them for their use? Thanks

No you can not put them directly on your forum or link to documents stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server), nor to documents stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc...But you can link to documents stored on a publicly accessible web server! but pay attention to Copyright, royalties...!!

I will have to figure another way to do what I want to do....thanks for the info.
