any way to stop users deleting their posts?

is there anyway to make deleting posts on the forum admin only?
i want to stop users deleting their own.

Admin Panel>>Display>>Pic management>>Simple Mode>>Topic & Post>>Go to the bottom and click Delete and then Click Hide

Why would you do that MrMario? You can just change the permissions of the forums.

Admin Panel > General > Categories and Forums > Click the button next to the forum you don't want members deleting posts on > Click "Advanced" > "Delete its own messages" > Members box unticked > Save > repeat for each forum.

Unless you are experiencing a major problem or confusion from members deleteting their own post I urge you to allow that option.

Now, on the other hand, if too many are deleted where it would cause the topic to be non-understandable or non-productive then you should take further action.

Glad E olah, users have been deleting their posts and making threads nonsense, so that is why i want it to be admin deletion only.
