registration

if i have posted this is the wrong place, apologies
I have just started my forum
I need to know if i can register people on the forum myself please
I want to move my present forum~~~ to here so to speak
can anyone point me in the right direction please
I am totally confused !!
I can,t see anything about registration on my new forum

Forumotion does not support the transfer of forums so the only way to do it is to add each member individually via the registration process.

If you are logged in you will need to log out and view the forum as a guest as the registration button is only visible to non-members

However, if you register them yourself you will have to provide them with a password and ask them to change it when they log in. Also you will need to know each persons email address as well.

I would advise against doing this yourself, as it will be very time consuming and more complicated in the long run. I would just post an announcement in your current or old forum of the new forum location and apologize for the inconvenience but that they will have to re-register upon arrival to the site.
